suppliers focus on 1964-’ 73 Mustang and
1967-’ 73 Cougar supplies, an increasing
number are now selling quality replacement parts for 1974-’04 pony cars. Some
are even offering parts and accessories
for 2005-’ 10 Mustangs.
One of the largest suppliers of vintage
and newer Mustang parts in the U.S. is
MUSTANGS UNLIMITED. Two separate
catalogs are available for Mustangs, a
392-page book for 1965-’ 73 models, including Shelbys, and a 352-page catalog for
1974-’ 10 models. A new catalog for 2005-
’ 10 Mustangs is scheduled for release
soon. Mustangs Unlimited also has a
separate 264-page parts book for 1967-’ 73
Cougars. Over 4,000 new items have
recently been added to these catalogs,
including Edelbrock fuel systems components, Scott Drake restoration parts
and Per Tronix performance products.

Classic Mustang restoration parts
and brake parts upgrades are available
from SHAFER’S CLASSIC REPRODUCTIONS. In addition to replacement
power steering, transmission and brake
lines, Shafer’s offers disc brake conversion kits, electrical switches and gas
tank sending units. They also have
many items available for vintage full-size Chevrolets and Tri- 5 Bel Airs.
DALLAS MUSTANG has a wide selection of restoration parts and accessories
for all Mustangs from 1964 to present.
Suspension, brake and drivetrain pieces
for early pony cars are listed in their
catalog, as are interior and body components. For newer generation models,
Dallas Mustang sells Saleen body kits,
Rousch superchargers and xenon headlamp conversions for the 2005 and newer
